Veritec AI Inc (“Veritec,” “we,” “us”), operating the Successor service (“Successor,” the “Service”) at joinsuccessor.com, respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Contact information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and (for sellers) business name.
What you tell us: details about your business or acquisition interests — industry, location, size, timeline, goals, and similar — whether shared on our site or by text or email.
Consent records: your opt-in and a timestamp.
Technical data: basic log and usage data such as IP address and browser type, and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

How we use your information

To provide the Service — to understand what you’re looking for and, for sellers, privately introduce you to vetted buyers (and buyers to sellers).
To contact you by phone, text message (SMS), and email about your business handoff or acquisition interest.
To vet buyers and to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

SMS / text messaging and mobile information

If you provide your phone number and consent, we and our messaging provider may send you text messages about your inquiry, including messages from our automated assistant, “Sam.” Message frequency varies. No mobile information will be shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in and consent information is not shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers who help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting, database, messaging, and AI providers), under confidentiality obligations and solely to provide the Service to us.
When you ask us to make an introduction — and only the details appropriate to that introduction, with your involvement.
When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or property.

We obtain consent on a one-to-one basis; your consent to be contacted by us is not shared or transferred to any other brand.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP; opt out of emails via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing sam@joinsuccessor.com. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we honor applicable requests.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
